What can we do? How can we do it? Can we do it for you? |

This is one of our members being lifted into a boat using the Oxford hoist. It makes life easier for both him and the helpers.

The Pioner Multi allows us to get conventional wheelchair users out on the water. It has a Ro-Ro bow which enables wheelchairs to be pushed straight on. |

We have fun too!
Day sails, picnics and BBQ’s- not to mention our annual dinner….. |

…..as well as chartering a 40ft yacht for a week, which sails daily from the Royal Lymington Yacht Club pontoon. |
|
| We sail in the Lymington River and go out into the Solent. |
 |
We have a legion of helpers who make this all possible; they very generously give their time to help rig the boats, launch and recover them and drive the safety boat that ensures our safety.
If you have any spare time on your hands and fancy a few hours by and on the sea, contact anyone of us or just turn up on the day. You do not need to be able to sail, all you need is a willing pair of hands and a sense of humour!
We are an independent charity, with no government funding. We have to rely on the generosity of others.
Please next time you think of giving Money to charity, think of us. We have no administration costs so every penny given goes to getting people out on the water! |
